JOHN HALLORAN
10/26/62 -1/21/10
John was with MSi Consulting for over 11 years – friend, model employee, and top producer title for 5 consecutive years. John considered the staff of MSi part of his family, and we, him. He was intensely loyal to this company and his clients, and truly loved his career and his profession. He took great pride in his success at MSi and was easily one of the hardest working employees I’ve ever had. On a number of occasions, I would “catch” John in the office on weekends recruiting so that he’d have a jump on his competition Monday morning. He was always one of the first of his teammates to congratulate and celebrate someone else’s success. In business nowadays, It can be a rare thing for an employer to receive unsolicited calls from clients praising the service and work of an employee. In John’s case, this was a common occurrence.
John Halloran was honest, trusting, and polite; and always treated people with a high measure of respect. He had a dry and uniquely wry sense of humor that we all miss. An avid sports fan of baseball and football, John possessed a deep understanding of the games, as well as the history of the sports and their players.
For nearly 6 years, John fought a gallant battle against cancer, never giving up the fight nor resorting to despair. No matter how challenging a day we may’ve encountered, John was dealing with something far worse and debilitating. Even more inspiring, John never “burdened” those around him with his pain or suffering. He was a positive influence to everyone he connected with, and a source of strength.
John will forever be with us in spirit. May he rest in eternal peace.
