Industry trends:
“Recruiting has transcended over the past decade, from index card filing and faxes, to email as a primary form of communication, and now with the onset of social media, the entire recruiting dynamic has dramatically changed yet again. Social media allows organizations to communicate in ways that didn’t exist 10 years ago. Job listings top the list of reasons to use social media. Statistics show more than one-third of employers use social media to promote their company. As recruiters, we now have access to limitless information, allowing for a more effective search and placement process.”
